Paul the cat says dogs aren’t so bad once you get used to them: Send us your pet stories

BEREA, Ohio -- In 2020, we took in an 8-year-old cat named Paul to help out a friend’s sister who was having medical issues.

We have two small dogs, and their commotion made Paul want to stay in the basement for the first year. Now that he has adjusted to the dogs, he is upstairs, constantly wanting to be petted.

When he’s not curled up in a box on the kitchen table, he enjoys “spa day,” which is when he lets our 4-year-old dog groom him.

Every morning, Paul goes for a 10-minute walk around the yard, then let’s himself back in.
